Saigon Revolutionary Heritage Site

Saw a familiar name while on the way to airport to meet a friend – Public Bank.

Seems like temple with pagoda is quite a norm in Vietnam.

While inside the car, saw this Andy Lau album and listening to Chinese Remix song, on the way to Tay Ninh.

Had a short break for lunch at A Hoon Broken Rice.

Cơm tấm = “Broken rice” — a popular Vietnamese dish made from fractured rice grains, typically served with grilled pork (sườn), shredded pork skin (bì), egg meatloaf (chả trứng), and fish sauce.

Saigon Revolutionary Heritage Site

While originally planned to go Cu Chi, accidentally dropped by Saigon Revolutionary Heritage Site.

A very grand entrance.

The Vietnamese phrase “Không có gì quý hơn độc lập tự do” translates to:

“Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom.”

This famous quote is attributed to Ho Chi Minh, the revolutionary leader and President of North Vietnam. It reflects the core values of Vietnam’s fight for national independence and self-determination.

Khu truyền thống cách mạng = Revolutionary tradition area / site

Sài Gòn = Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City)

Cu Chi Tunnels

Didn’t manage to visit Cu Chi Tunnels this trip as it was raining. Just dropped by the entrance area.
