Sook Siam Indoor Floating Market

Sook Siam is an indoor floating market perfect for first-time visitors to Thailand. There are food & craft vendors in a designer marketplace styled to recall regional Thai bazaars of the past.

Took a walk from the hotel to Icon Siam on the morning of Christmas 2023.

Had quite some good photos along the way.

The LYF building.

A red post box, located opposite the Light House Cafe.

The unique building by the roadside with some cafes.

Passing by a lane.

The Penisula Bangkok, the one that got its boat sending guests along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand.

Another temple spotted.

The post box, the Tuk-tuk, and the temple. Just nice in one shot.

Sook Siam Floating Market

Enter the Icon Siam through the road entrance instead of the cruise deck.

The floating market inside the mall is a colorful one.

Temptation of authentic Thai food displayed colorfully.

Very nice and colorful flowery decoration, Sook Siam peacock.

A busy crowd on Christmas day.

Siam dragon.

Flower boat.

Fruity boat.

A hanging of colorful flags.

Another decorative Christmas tree, in pairs.

Paul Depuis 1889 Cafe

This cafe inside Thailand’s True Mobile Experience Center is unique in terms of interior design.

Like quite some other F&B outlets inside Icon Siam, the cafe has a nice viewing area. Reminds me of the Loxid Gateau coffee and bakery during the business trip to Suwon, Korea.

Can see the highest building in Bangkok from the outdoor area of the cafe.

A different view angle from that of % Arabica Cafe in The Empire Building.

There is also the upper floor area, accessible through a special staircase with a seating area.

In summary, Sook Siam is an indoor floating market perfect for first-time visitors to Thailand. There are food & craft vendors in a designer marketplace styled to recall regional Thai bazaars of the past.
